Digerön

Experience an eventful forest, pine needles and lake where a chef cooks you food, sauna and bath amidst the beautiful nature out on Digerön. Digerön can only be booked as a three-day package with the first day out on the island and the second day filled with a different type of luxury at the hotel.

A Night on the Island

Getting out to Digerön is done on foot, via a raft over to the island, or by canoe. If you choose to paddle, you will gather at the Sports Centre and take the two of you on the journey through Dammsjön out to Öjaren and on to Digerön — the camp site for the night. If you want a guide, it is possible to book both on foot and by canoe. We will help you with the packing to and from the camp site.

Whether you walk or paddle, it takes 1-2 hours to reach Digerön. It is advisable to have a coffee stop on the way at any nice place. Once on the island, a good beer, a hot sauna and the chef who starts the grills await you for tonight's three-course forest dinner.

Dinner in the middle of nature

The dinner will be something out of the ordinary and is prepared from many different Made in Högbo products that taste extra delicious outside in nature. After dinner there will be a nice campfire party and maybe an evening dip for those who want to. Sleeping places are prepared in the cabins and when you wake up in the morning the chef has fixed breakfast — just chop in.

The Tour Back

When everyone is ready, the walk towards civilization starts again, a walk through the forest on Digerön takes you to the raft and on to the mainland. Once back at the mill, a really good lunch is served and there after it's time to check into the hotel. There is time for a meeting or activity before the evening's four-course dinner in the hotel's restaurant. After a good night in comfortable beds, a large breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant. When you check out of the hotel, you bring lots of great memories home to your workplace, you get to know each other a little better and work at home becomes so much more fun after such a unique experience.
